How the Servpro.caTeam does Green! This week is Earth week and although our Team is overall Green I'd like to share some of what and how we do Green!
No Print Rule - Being an online company we can practice our no print rule easily. All our files are on databases and online so we have no need to print and no need for messy paper filled filling cabinets.
Reduce-Reuse- Recycle! We encourage the use of recycling bins and also have a destination for paper than can be reused as scrap sheets for those quick notes!
Reusable Coffee thermoses - We enjoy our starbucks coffees and/or Tim Horton's! Our staff has reusable thermoses that can be refilled at their favorite cafes!. Great way to save on the paper cup mess.
Computers - Laptops are our computer source and it uses less power than a desktop computer. We also ensure that all computers are turned off and unplugged every night!
Staying in for lunch - Not only is it the healthy choice but using reusable Tupperware and cutlery is a great way to be Green!
Lights off! - No one in the room? Then neither should the lights be. Keep curtains open on sunny days a well to have natural light, light the rooms.
